What is an automatic watch or an automatic movement?

In the case of an automatic watch or a watch with an automatic movement, the spring, which keeps the movement running, is automatically wound by the moves that arise when wearing a watch. The movement of the arm is transferred to the winding mechanism by a rotor. A friction clutch avoids an over-tightening of the spring.

What does power reserve mean?

The power reserve indicates how long the completely wound spring of an automatic watch keeps the movement running without the watch having to be moved or wound. Because this refers to a completely wound watch, the actual duration might be shorter. This depends on the degree to which the movement was wound, meaning on the stress state of the spring.

How do I maintain the leather strap of my watch?

Only use special leather cleaning products for maintaining your leather strap. Avoid any contact with leather harming substances. Please do not put the leather strap completely into the water when cleaning it and keep it away from salt water.

How can I replace the strap by the other delivered straps?

Where the strap is attached to the case you can find two small pins on both sides. Pull them back at the same time and remove the strap carefully. Then take the other strap, pull both pins back at the same time, position the strap at the case and release the pins. Make sure that the pins of the strap engage properly. Test this by drawing the strap very carefully. If the strap is not engaged please repeat the described procedure.
